Good news for candidates who had been looking for appointments as Village Revenue Officers (VRO) and Village Revenue Assistants (VRO). The relevant notification which the government is expected to issue shortly will apply to over 9000 candidates who anxiously kept a long wait.The Revenue Minister n Raguveera reddy addressing a press conference here today informed that the Chief Minister N.Kiran Kumar Reddy had already approved the file related to the appointments of the VROs and VRAs. But the connected file has been stuck up in the general administration department. Once it is cleared by the gad the notification will be issued said the minister. And the recruitment process will commence within a week.
Explaining the procedure and criteria for conducting the interviews and selecting the candidates the minister clarified that hitherto the eligibility qualification was seventh for VRA which was made tenth class pass. And for VRO tenth class pass was the eligibility but now the same qualification has been raised to intermediate pass.
Further detailing on how the interviewing officers will allot marks to the candidates, the minister said that 10 marks will be allotted to the age, oral interview will fetch 15 marks while 75 marks will be allotted to the academic qualifications. Interestingly the academic year of passing will provide the deciding weightage, factor to the candidates.
All things considered by august ending the government is most likely to fill up all the vacancies of the cited posts which are expected to boost the village administration apart from implementing the welfare schemes.
